  • Opened two new boutiques in 2008 generating $758,000 in sales and $118,000 in profit dollars.
  • Transitioned the 12 properties to a new In Room Amenity Program resulting in an annual savings of $20,000, including free monthly shipping of products.
  • Redesigned and reopened two properties to provide them with an upgraded product selection and an enhanced customer experience. First year opening results included a 104% revenue increase and an 11% increase in profit.
  • Produced a new and updated uniform program for all 12 hotels resulting in improved employee morale and a better guest experience. Negotiated with out of network vendors for better pricing on high usage items.

Northwest Divisional Merchandise Manager                                                                               1997-2001

  • Created a corporate advertising plan for the division which resulted in acquiring cooperative advertising money from select vendors, allowing Nordstrom to advertise nationally.
  • Led a corporate meeting designed to engender cooperation, with the nationwide division management teams, which resulted in increased morale and teamwork among the regions.
  • Drove financial plans and budgets for product categories which resulted in faster turning product and higher margins.
  • Collaborated with corporate sales promotion to develop a visual training manual for stores leading to improved store standards companywide.
