Introducing 2 New Report Types in Windows Summary Report

Using Windows Reports in Version 7.63 or 8.40 (and higher) 2 new summary reports have been added to the menu: Transfer Merchandise and Receiving Merchandise.

*** THE LATEST WINDOWS REPORT HOTFIXES ARE REQUIRED. ***

From the Reports Main Menu Select SUMMARY (sidebar menu) > New (top)

Transfer Merchandise: This summary report summarizes Transfer Out Slips (or In Slips).

Receiving Merchandise: This summary report summarizes Receiving Vouchers.

Both reports are extremely flexible and can be sorted from the transaction number down to the item values.

Uses:

Item Receiving Summary by Voucher: Create a report that will list each Receiving Voucher and qty received by item.

Item Transfer Slip Summary by Store/Slip: Create a report that lists each transfer slips with qty and destination for each item.

Receiving Dept Summary: Summarize receiving by Dept/Class/SubClass

Transfer Dept Summary: Summarize Out Slips by Dept for a location.

Receiving Vendor Summary: Summarize each Vendor’s Receiving.

The Sample file, Reports FOM 200409.zip should be extracted to the Retail8 folder (the root folder in Retail Pro).

Note: The hotfix includes a New Reports Security File. In 8 Series, Register the new security file in the Sec Admin and review the General Report for Retail Pro switch: General / View Cost in Reports.
