How to cycle through form view in 8 Series Retail Pro

In 7.63 and previous versions of Retail Pro, in order to view former history documents you had to use either find to locate the document that you needed or cycle through the documents manually one at a time using <Ctrl PgUp> and <Ctrl PgDn>.

The new windows interface in 8 Series Retail Pro introduced the receipt list view which allows you to see all your former receipts for the month on the screen together to help locate the one you want quickly.

However, there are times when you might want to look through a list of receipts one at a time (ie. searching for a specific item on a receipt).  Switching out to list view to find the next receipt and then back into form view can be tedious. 

Luckily, the developers from RTI took a page from 7 series and included the <Ctrl-PgUp> and <Ctrl-PgDn> features in 8 series as well.

In order to cycle through form view in 8 series:

1. Go into list view and select the month you want to view.

2. (if needed), use filtered view to find only the receipts for the store, day, vendor, etc. that you want to look through and sort them in the order you wish to view them.

3. Highlight one of the receipts and choose form view at the top.

4. Pressing <Ctrl-PgUp> (Hold the CTRL key down while pressing the Page Up Key) will change your form view to the previous item in the list.

5. Pressing <Ctrl-PgDn> (Hold the CTRL key down while pressing the Page Down Key) will change your form view to the previous item in the list.

Unlike in 7 Series, this feature works in any screen offering a form view and a list view (Inventory, Vouchers, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, etc.).
