Big Hairy Dog provides handheld Data Collectors for our customer’s Physical Inventory.
We provide 3 types of data collectors: Janam, Symbol (Palm technology) and PT2000.

The cost for renting a scanner unit is $150 per unit per day, regardless of brand. (Saturday and Sunday are considered 1 day).  BHD pays for shipping to the customer, and the customer pays for the return shipping.  Unless otherwise stated, Overnight Shipping is required in order to be received the following day.  The units must be insured for $1500 per unit.

BHD also provides training on the use of these units.  A 2-hour training appointment is scheduled, however if you do not use or need the entire 2 hours, you will be billed only for the minutes you use.  If you choose not to have training, we will fax a ‘Training Waiver’ form which must be signed and faxed back.

To reserve your scanners, simply complete the form below.  Once submitted, a BHD service rep will be in touch with you to confirm details and availability.  We will then fax a ‘Rental Agreement’ as well as a ‘Training Waiver’ (if applicable) to you for your signature.  This Agreement must be returned to BHD in order to place your order.

*NOTE:  Most retailers conduct their physical inventory during the end and beginning of each calendar year.  Please make your reservation as soon as you have a confirmed date for your physical inventory, to ensure availability.
